01 · Sundays

A Sunday Built for Your Child

From check-in to pick-up, First McKinney Kids is designed to help children feel welcomed, cared for, and ready to participate. Families use a secure check-in system that provides matching security tags for each child and parent. Kids then join an age-appropriate environment where they experience Bible teaching, worship, and small-group activities designed to help them understand God’s Word and build relationships with others.

Kids church is available during both Sunday services at 9:15 and 10:45 AM. During the week, Wednesday night kids programs at Midweek give kids another opportunity to learn, connect, and spend time together.

02 · Safety

Safety Parents Can Trust

Your child’s care and security matter to us. Every family begins with secure children’s check-in, where parents and kids receive matching security tags, and the corresponding tag is required at pickup. Kids are cared for by screened, background-checked leaders who follow established safety procedures throughout the Kids Building.

We want parents to feel comfortable asking questions about how we care for their kids. Our goal is to provide a safe children’s ministry where families can check in with confidence and kids can focus on learning, worshiping, and building relationships.

Meet the First McKinney Kids Team

Kids Minister Molly Williams leads First McKinney Kids alongside a staff team that supports preschool and elementary ministry, curriculum and resources, and Incredible Kids. They work alongside volunteers who invest their time each week to teach God’s Word, build relationships, and care for kids and families.

Our team also wants to partner with parents, answer questions, and help families feel connected as their kids grow. If you would like to be part of what God is doing through First McKinney Kids, explore opportunities to Serve in Kids Ministry.
