Women’s Ministry at a Glance
The Women’s Ministry of First McKinney helps women of all ages grow in their relationship with Jesus, deepen their understanding of God’s Word, and build meaningful relationships with other women. Opportunities include Women’s Bible studies each fall and spring, MomCo for moms of young children, and connection events and gatherings throughout the year.
Bible Studies, In Depth and In Community
Each fall and spring, First McKinney Women offers a variety of Women’s Bible studies designed to help women know God more deeply through His Word. Women study the Bible in depth, both personally and alongside other women, with opportunities to ask questions, build relationships, and grow in their faith.
Studies are offered at different times throughout the week, creating multiple opportunities to find a Bible study for women that fits your season of life. Through time in God’s Word and relationships with one another, our desire is for women to deepen their love for Christ, grow in the Fruit of the Spirit, and encourage others in the Lord.
MomCo: For Moms of Young Children
Looking to connect with other moms? MomCo McKinney is a place for moms of young children to build friendships, find encouragement, and grow together. We encourage one another as we learn to love our children well, grow as moms, and deepen our relationship with Jesus. Motherhood in the early years can be both challenging and rewarding, and meaningful relationships with other moms can make a difference along the way.
Whether you’re looking for a moms group, encouragement in motherhood, or simply a place to meet other women in a similar season of life, there’s a place for you at MomCo McKinney.
Women’s Events: A Place to Connect
Throughout the year, First McKinney Women hosts special events designed to help women build relationships, enjoy time together, and invite friends to experience the First McKinney community. With events typically offered in both the fall and spring, each gathering looks a little different.
You might find a women’s conference with encouraging speakers and plenty of fun, a Mahjong Night around the table, or another opportunity created for women to connect and grow. Whatever is planned for the semester, these events offer an easy way to meet other women, bring a friend, and take a next step toward deeper relationships at First McKinney.
