Local Missions at First McKinney: Serve Your Community

Loving our neighbors starts right where God has placed us.

Local Missions at a Glance

Through local missions, First McKinney serves McKinney year-round through a weekly Bible club at Finch Elementary, ESL, food ministry, and community outreach with local partners who care for foster and adoptive families, people experiencing homelessness, schools, and others in our community. We meet practical needs, build relationships, and look for opportunities to share the hope of the Gospel.

Our Conviction

Why We Serve Our City

For more than 150 years, First McKinney has been part of the McKinney community, and loving our neighbors continues to be an important part of who we are. We believe that by meeting practical needs, we can build genuine relationships that open doors to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Church community outreach ministry gives us opportunities to show up, care for people, and invest in the community God has placed around us.

Whether we’re serving a school, helping a family, providing a meal, or simply building a relationship, our desire is the same: to love our neighbors well and help them know the hope found in Jesus.
