Serving & Missions · First McKinney Church, Texas
Jesus calls us to take the Gospel to the nations, and we want to faithfully go wherever He sends us.
Through international missions, First McKinney sends teams on mission trips and supports international ministry partners throughout the year. Recent teams have served in Germany, Hungary, Moldova, South Africa, Zambia, and Uganda as we seek to share the Gospel and see God’s Kingdom spread among the nations. Explore where God may be calling you to go.

At First McKinney, we have a strong conviction to see the Kingdom of God spread throughout the nations, and we believe each of us has a place in God’s mission. Jesus calls His followers to go and make disciples of all nations, and global missions is one way we faithfully respond.
We go to build relationships, serve alongside ministry partners, share the Gospel, and help others know and follow Jesus. Whether through prayer, giving, or going, we want to be a church that faithfully joins God in what He is doing among the nations.
Pray. Give. Go.First McKinney sends church mission volunteer teams to serve alongside trusted ministry partners in different parts of the world. Destinations and opportunities change from year to year, but recent mission trips have included:

International partnerships allow First McKinney to invest in relationships that continue long after a mission team comes home. Throughout the year, we pray for, give to, and serve alongside trusted ministry partners who are sharing the Gospel and investing in their communities.
When our teams go, they join work that is already happening through local churches, missionaries, and ministry organizations. These ongoing relationships help us serve with greater understanding and continue supporting the work through prayer, generosity, and future opportunities to go.

You don’t have to be a missionary or have everything figured out before considering a mission trip. God uses people with different gifts, experiences, and backgrounds to serve alongside His work around the world. Each trip has its own purpose and requirements, and teams prepare together through training, logistics, prayer, and support-raising.
If you’ve never considered an international mission trip, this may be the time to ask. Pray about where God may be leading you, explore the current opportunities, and take a step toward going.
