Why ministry matters here

Why First McKinney is Built around biblical community

For more than 150 years, First McKinney has been a place where people gather around God’s Word, build meaningful relationships, grow in faith, and serve their neighbors. Our mission is to make disciples who live and love like Jesus. As we follow Him and help others do the same, we believe that kind of growth happens best alongside other people.

Our Baptist church ministries are rooted in Scripture and designed to help people follow Jesus through every season of life. From our youngest kids to our Senior Adults, we want every generation to know God’s Word, experience meaningful church community, and discover how God can use their lives to serve others. That happens through authentic relationships and faith-based community groups where people can study God’s Word, encourage one another, and know and be known. As a local Baptist church, we’d be honored to walk alongside you in your faith journey and help you take your next step toward Jesus.

It is why we say curiosity becomes connection here.
